Columbia University
The Columbia First-Year Application is an option for students who are unable to apply to Columbia through the Common Application because of technical difficulties. Please review the application instructions below carefully before beginning your application. Applicants must submit only one complete application, using either the Common or the Columbia First-Year Application.  There is no advantage or disadvantage to using the Columbia First-Year Application instead of the Common Application.

University of New Mexico
http://www.unm.edu/apply/  The Office of Admissions considers an applicant’s total high school record including grades, test scores and curriculum. Applicants are strongly encouraged to complete a college preparatory curriculum in high school to include the following units:
English- 4 units with at least 1 unit earned in the 11th and 12th grade in composition
Mathematics - 3 units from the following: Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Trigonometry, or higher mathematics
Social Science - 3 units: one (1) of which must be US History
Natural Science - 2 units: one (1) of which must be a laboratory science in Biology, Chemistry or Physics; and
Foreign Language – 2 units of a single language other than English

Yale University http://www.yale.edu/admit/
The application deadline for Regular Decision applicants is midnight, Friday January 1st. The Admissions Office will be closed for the holiday and will reopen on Monday January 4th. If you are submitting an online application and encounter problems related to the submission process or the online application itself, you should contact the Common Application support staff by clicking on Help at the top of any online Common Application page. You will find helpful information there. If a technical problem prevents you from submitting your Yale application by midnight December 31st, please be reassured that you will still be able to submit it electronically after the deadline, when the problem has been resolved.
