Home-Based Learning Extended through May 1

In response to on-going efforts to reduce the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) KCUSD administrators and board members, at the guidance of local health officials and in collaboration with neighboring school districts, have decided that all KCUSD schools will continue home-based learning through Friday, May 1. At the present time it is our hope to reopen schools to students on Monday, May 4. All services that are currently being provided, such as meals and social-emotional support will continue through May 1. Schools will be closed and services will be stopped during our regularly scheduled Spring Break, April 6 - April 13, and will resume Tuesday, April 14.

Meals Available During Non-Student Days

Breakfast and lunch will be available on weekdays from March 17 - May 1, with the exception of Spring Break, April 6 - 13.
Breakfast will be available for pick up between 7:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.
Lunch will be available between 11:45 a.m. and 12:15 p.m.
In Orange Cove: McCord, Orange Cove High School, Sheridan
In Reedley: Great Western, Jefferson, Lincoln, Reedley High School, T.L. Reed, Washington
Distribution at Dunlap School will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Lunch will be distributed along with breakfast for the following day.
Any person, age 18 and under, is eligible to "pick up" a meal during the times listed above.
Students must be present when picking up meals.
